I am standing with my mouth literally wide open after watching episode 87 "Wonderful! The Magic Mushroom Pot!" Were the makers high on shrooms making this episode? It was wild, and I have to admit I laughed out loud. But BIZ AR O! Who came up with this?

I am not well versed in UY, so I do not know whether this episode has anything to do with the manga. But it left me in stiches, and made me think it is completely nuts...

Since when I joined this message boards and I began scanning the forum's topics, I amazingly noted that some people here can read and speak japanese. I envy them so much!! I'd love being able to at least read it, but among my school duties and all the rest, I have no really time to study it. Sometimes I try to learn it amateurly, but I'm still light-years from understanding a complete sentence.

Paradoxically, I own tons of doujinshis, mainly because I like collecting...

Today I was reading Keroro gunso(If anyone still reads it) and they had Natsumi turned into Lum!
She had Lums exact bikini even her horns! And what really got me was she kept on saying "Darling!"

Once Upon A Time, I heard a rumor that Stan Lee had purchased some-sort-of rights (if only partial) to Urusei Yatsura. News of the acquisition of Marvel by the Disney Corporation brings this back to mind.

So, my question is: is there any truth (that you know-of) to this? Did Stan Lee purchase a piece (years ago) of UruseiYatsura?

Okay, I know Takahashi sometimes bases her characters from a past manga she's done, whether it be character design or personality. But this snapshot of Tsubame! I know it's with his eyes closed and all, but still, it just kinda shocked me at that moment about how much he looks like Godai!

Most of you have seen that It's a Rumic World opening video on Youtube or some other video site. A bit a go they gave away some DVDs that had a preview of the new OVAs of Ranma 1/2, Inuyasha, and Urusei Yatsura. I've found the preview movie for the Urusei Yatsura OVA that was on the DVD on youtube.

Hey there. I'm Robert, I'm from England, and I've been a pretty big fan of Urusei Yatsura for quite some time now. I started with a VHS I picked up in Forbidden Planet in Cambridge when I was fourteen, and I never really looked back, despite most Urusei Yatsura stuff being so thin on ground in the UK, more so than manga in general.

I live in the UK and have just bought the PAL OVA box set.

I was wondering though if the American release contains the liner notes for the various OVAs as the PAL one doesn't in any shape or form.

Also what is the quality like for the American release please? Some of the later episodes on the PAL release have some picture problems with fuzzy lines appearing on the screen? The Memorial Album episode is badly affected by this and even has some fuzzy sound problems as well.

I was wondering does anybody know why Inoue You was replaced with Komiya Kazue as the voice of Ran? I really liked Inoue You as Ran. Don't get me wrong though. I did really like Komiya Kazue as well. I just felt that Inoue You brought out the two sides of Ran's personality a lot better.

I'm reading the 62nd chapter of UY right now, and I just came across something very... interesting.

What's wrong with this picture? Notice the food stand in the background. It reads, "Ukyo's Okonomiyaki." ... Is this just the translators trying to make publicity for Ranma 1/2, or was this in the original Japanese version as well, before Ranma even...

Some of you may remember that Shonen Sunday was running a contest where they were going to give away 500 copies of the "It's a Rumic World" sample DVD which contained clips of the new Takahashi anime for Urusei Yatsura, Ranma ½, and Inuyasha. Well, Dylan and I didn't win one, but Tachihaki did, and he was kind enough to share it with us!

The DVD starts with the ad that circulated on the net that had the characters from each of the series interacting with one...
