I cant buy it in my country...

So Viz has released the cover to the first book in their re-release of One Pound Gospel. I've done a comparison of the Japanese cover with the new English cover.

I have to admit, I think they didn't do such a great job. Pretty tacky actually. They took two different pieces of artwork, put 'em on the cover and then went nuts with...

My friend has an old VHS copy and I borrowed it off of him to put this footage on the computer for this video.

I just barely looked up the info on this site and learned the same director is that of Ashita no Joe which explains the similar use of angles.

It doesn't offer much, but offers enough. You really can't blame it since the manga barely debuted, but I love the seiyuu cast which really brought me into it...

I know I asked this after it was announced that Takahashi would finish One Pound Gospel, and before everything came out. Now it's been some time and there's been a full Dorama produced. I have been ducking and avoiding the other topics, trying not to spoil the story for me, because I'd really like to see the end of the story in print. Yeah, while Harley was working on the Mermaid site, I was working on the Gospel site, but he was a bit faster than me. Mine's done now though for the FINAL time, no more redesigns for any of the sites now. (yay!) Let me know if there's anything I need to add. Like Mermaid's Flesh the Cultural Notes are a bit sparse. Just finished watching the first episode of the new drama adaptation of 1 Pound Gospel and I must say I have a lot of mixed feeling about it. The locations of the story are awesome and they truly brought to life the different settings of the manga and if you do a careful comparison, the resemblance is impressive (the gym especially took me by surprise). The actors played their part fairly according to the script; but that is just it.

As part of our Summer of Short Stories project we're posting up the final storyline of OPG. Harley did a translation of it for another site, but that didn't go anywhere after the first chapter, and so we're happy to pick it up and make it available for all the US fans of the series. With the conclusion of this storyline Harley will have translated the entire fourth tankoban of the series and we will have made those translations available exclusively through Rumic World.

hello there i am going to japan this summer and i would like to purchase this "40 Years Old to You" guidebook. but where to find it? is it somewhere near the iy manga in bookstores or mandarake ect?
