I thought I'd share it and my response for those that might be interested in the translation aspects of the series.The letter:Quote:Hi! 			<description><![CDATA[ As to the original post, yeah, the exact translation is incorrect, but the extent to which Shampoo speaks broken Japanese is correct. Often in translation, one
must look at the spirit of what someone is saying more than trying to express the exact phrases. One example I like is Naruto&#39;s favorite word
&#39;dattabayo&#39;. The kind of word it is isn&#39;t in English, and beyond that, it was made up by the writer. It&#39;s impossible to translate directly.
They translate it as &#39;believe... ]]></description>

It'd be almost like using desu at the end of your sentences when you don't have to like I've heard some Japanese people do from time to time to put more charecter in their speach.
