Oh yeah, the job interview went fine I think. I have a feeling they'll offer it to me, and I'll be stuck in a low paying job for the next year. Hoshi is going to be there until the end of August. I put up more pictures on Facebook, I'll have to figure out if I can link 'em here.

Wonderful photos Yusaku! Maybe you could use Photobucket or something for the other photos? How long is Hoshi going to be teaching for? Do you ever expect to return? (Fuel surcharges may make it impossible someday) Did you make your job interviews on time!? Inquiring minds want to know!!

Thanks for the welcome, Yusaku Godai! Looks like you had alot of fun! How big was that geisha head in the second pic - looks huge! Wow, that temple sure looks cool, looks like it was crowded too. Were those all tourists or worshippers? Thanks for sharing your pics - I wish I could have gone.

Thanks for the welcome home guys, and nice to meet you Ryogasgirl, glad to have you with us! I had a fantastic time in Japan, but am pretty glad to be home the the States (the foooood!!!) You really miss having free refills when you don't get 'em for two weeks. haha

I've got a ton of pictures, but have sort of hit my limit on my Yuku account so I've had to just sort of choose one or two pictures from each of the things we did.

I sure hope Japan was everything you hoped it'd be! Looks like you took in alot of the culture over there. Is there anything you missed in Japan that you're glad you came back for? (besides your family, of course) Have any culture shock moments on the other side of the pacific?

Hope you had lots of fun but get some rest you don't want to be 'out of it' on your interview! And I've been on an interview for a job I didn't care for and they can sense it; at least if you don't like it you'll have something until you find something else (kind of in that situation myself) Take Care!!!!! Hey guys, I got back around 6 last night. I'm still pretty exhausted, just woke up about an hour ago and I've got a 2nd round job interview (for a job I don't really want) tomorrow morning, but I'll fill you all in on the rest of my trip and post a bunch more photos in the next day or so.

I had a lot of fun, but I'm glad to be home. The flying part sucks!

You're so lucky to be able to visit Japan! I agree, you look good in a yukata . It takes a man who's secure in his masculinity to wear flowers. I love that store front too. It's so cool that Lum is still such a presence in Japanese culture after all these years.

Those pictures of the city were beautiful. I've been to NY, but this is so much...

Back from backpacking across Japan! What a weekend!

Hoshi said she really liked Kyoto more than Osaka but I liked Osaka more than Kyoto. We stayed in the Umeda area of Osaka, which was sort of scary and looked straight out of Blade Runner!!! All the neon lights and the people yelling for you to come into their restaurants, tons of host clubs and bars and stuff, it was really intimidating but I liked it after I got used to it. TONS of walking around though. We ended up staying...

I made a slight mention of this on the IY board last week, but on Monday morning I'm leaving for Japan to visit Hoshi Shouri. Since I'm the last of the three webmasters to actually go to Japan it was way overdue. I'm going to try to take lots of pictures and post 'em here and keep everyone up to date on what's going on over there and everything I see. I'm particularly interested in being there in these weeks as Inuyasha is so close to ending. Might find some cool...
