I was walking through SoHo on Broadway yesterday when I saw massive stickers of Lum and Detective Conan in the windows of one of the stores. I went inside and
several of the poles that held up the second floor were decorated with pages from the UY manga, in the original Japanese. Even some of the floor was this way.
In a mezzanine area between the two floors, you could buy T-shirts with manga characters on them, including one with a sparkling silver Lum on it for $15.50,
with the tag...

There's a Uniqlo on Broadway, Hoshi. I checked the website this morning, and there are several other UY shirts, one of which was one of a guy in a tiger
mask (probably Ataru) about to get a nice shock from Lum. I also saw a Ranma shirt featuring P-chan. The floor of mezzanine level of the New York store had
Detective Conan Manga, with UY on the poles and crossbeams. It was really cool.

That sounds like Uniqlo here in Japan. I bet that's their New York store. The Harajuku store here is selling ONLY the UT manga shirts, and the floor of
the store is plastered with blown up UY manga pages. I wanted to take a picture when I was there, but I didn't want to get kicked out. I may have to
sneak one next time I'm in there though, it was really neat.

Hey, I was in New York a couple weeks ago. Wish I'd known about this then; what was the store called? I would've had a better time in the city if
I'd gone there than when I tried to go to the Statue of Liberty (all the tickets were sold out, so I got one for Ellis Island, but by the time the boat
reached the statue, the guys said Ellis was closed for the day and turned back. It was the second time in a row I've been ripped off in New York.)
