True, but those who are interested in manga here can be VERY passionate. I wouldn't put it past someone in charge of some annual convention to try to organize something like this. Although it's probably pretty expensive to host art by someone so popular...And a convention seems like a pretty bad place to have an art exhibition, considering how insane the attendants tend to...

As popular as Rumiko is among us anime/manga fans, we still seem to make up a small portion of America's population. And for that reason, there just isn't enough demand for a Rumiko Takahashi art exhibition stateside...yet. Perhaps there could be one at a large anime convention like Otakon. I have seen her and UY mentioned in at least one American-published book about comics though. I don't think it was as large as the sections on Superman and Batman of course, but it was still...

I believe Hoshi will be fortunate enough to go, as she'll still be in Japan then. Dylan'll be back unfortunately. I'd love to go, as this is her first showing, as far as I know.

I REALLY wish I could see this. Is anyone going? Anyone with a camera possibly? Hopefully they allow cameras....but I really would love to see what they're displaying...I'm so upset that I can't go...why can't they have a Rumic art exhibition in the U.S?
