Without actually checking the episodes, I'm just looking at the musicbox listing to see what songs appear in both the episodes you mentioned. There're three actually...

1-38- Kanashimi no Konnichiwa Instrumental 2 (slow, sad song)
2-31- Bridge 8 (slightly longer version of the eyecatch song)
4-20- Akemi Hajimaru (Akemi's Beginning). I'm willing to bet this song is the one you're looking for. I don't think so. At least for the time being. Its a lot easier for me to just look at it and answer questions about what hasn't been recorded than to take the time to scan in 96 episodes worth of stuff.

Well, the guide tells you straight out if the song is missing from the set. It details everything by episode rather than by disk. My purpose was to compile a list of episodes with the list of all the background music, and to discover the BGM missing in the box (and other bgm cd, like Music Sour e Shake).

I know in the MI complete music box booklet there is a list of all BGM and the correspondance with episodes of anime where you can hear them.
Some time ago a guy send me the scanlations of references for disc 7 (the extra songs).
I write down the list in this way:
