Okay, for my first topic, what is the style of martial arts porayed in Ranma 1/2 which struck you as teh funniest or most unusual? There's cat-fu, food-fu,
and that gymnastics style among others. I think the food-fu was one of the oddest arcs I've ever seen. How does Takahashi come up with these things?

I always liked the martial arts figure skating because it puts a twist on something that is supposed to be so graceful to watch and so many neat moves!

Do you mean with Picolet Chardin? Because I was crying with laughter the first time that freak opened his big fat mouthYeah, boy, could that guy eat!! That was an interesting arc if only for the fact that Ranma agreed to be his bride just so that he could learn Chardin's techniques. I always think it's funny when Ranma uses his curse to his advantage. I'm just glad it didn't go to far or it could have gotten really weird. |

I don't know if it was really a martial arts, but I found the Romeo and Juliet arc to be hysterical. I guess you could call it "Romeo-Fu"

i would have to say the wierdiest one would be the martial arts calligraphy that old man did to ryoga. it was useful, but very wierd.
