Forgive me, I don't frequent the Inuyasha board as I am attempting to stay in the dark concerning characters in the manga who occur after the anime.

So I am not sure who this is? Is it Seshomaru's mother? Is the hound also the same person?

(I could look this up, I know, but I don't want to try to research this or I may find out more than what I want to find out. I am waiting until the end of the manga and then plan on buying the entire manga for my family.)

Thanks. Don't worry. That's not too much of a spoiler. I figure that Sesshomaru had to come from somewhere. As to whether she is living or dead, I will leave that to ignorance right now.

After I posted my earlier reply, together with my wife, we reconsidered our position, and decided to buy into what's available in Inuyasha up until present (was on sale). So, perhaps, my kids and I will know all the answers.

Well, no and yes. We usually make most decisions on major purchases together. Either that or I delegate a budget to her and she spends it. But with this Christmas, I thought it was high time to buy into Inuyasha. I was going to wait until it was all finished, but I figured I may be waiting quite a while, and then it would be twice the price. And since she holds the purse, it took consultation.

But it really didn't take allot of arm twisting on my part. We ARE getting to be quite the family of Takahashi fans. Started with Ranma, and then MI and Mermaid, and now Inuyasha. I know the kids will like it. They liked the Ranma and Mermaid. Otakuswife (who's the Otaku?) will likely get into Inuyasha quite a bit.
