There hasn't been any discussion about the upgrade to Yuku yet? |

Huh. Kind of a surprise considering that we've been using ezBoard for over six years now. I like the change, especially the fact that
we actually have a search engine that doesn't completely suck now. It would be nice if that character validation box you have to go through when trying to
do a search was done away with, though - the letters are kind of hard to read (I couldn't even tell if there were four characters or five at first) and it
should be obvious that I'm not a spambot, being a logged in member with around 300 posts.

I like the new yuku system too, though I notice we are missing a bunch of recent posts....

I think all the posts made after December 10th were lost in the conversion. Not too bad... it's not like the Ezpocalypse from 2005,
anyway.

yeah, I like the quick reply and the fact that when you read something, it registers as read and you don't have to tell it.
But, for me, it looks very messed up, am I the only one who sees a lot of white space? And white words on white background? Too bad about lost posts, kinda sucks. Also, don't see the point of Kudos, but I think I just gave the first one. And also, why only 10 posts a page? Has it always been like that? Is this fixable? I think 20 would be better.

But, for me, it looks very messed up, am I the only one who sees a lot of white space? And white words on white background? Hm... that's strange. For me (I'm using Opera), it looks just like the old ezBoard did. I just fiddled around with things to see if you can change the number of replies per page. You can. Go to your profile, then click on Navigation (blue button in top right corner), Edit Layout, Settings tab, Preferences (I think you're supposed to check "Use My Settings" for them to take effect). |

Yeah, me too...it looks odd and it's annoying that some of the words aren't visible unless you highlight them. :P |

Are we? They have been bugging me about changing to Yuku, and within the last few days it no longer became a choice and was a forced issue. They changed it
over themselves. So I'm still trying to figure out some things (the background for instance). It looks like the new standard avatar size is larger and I
can't seem to shrink it back (apologies if that messes things up for anyone). You'll have to resize your old avatars.
Otherwise it seems pretty good so far. We'll all have to figure how how it works together I guess. |

Looks like someone fixed the background back. Much better.
I also like how the forum doesnt waste space on the sides like the old one did. And bigger Avatars is cool for me.

Missing posts. | ||

I know, for instance, there were a number of replies to rpatters posts in the Maison Ikkoku section concerning "Seiyuu so well cast" that seem to
have disappeared. Wonder what happened.

Yeah, I think everything from the past 24 hours is probably lost, unfortunately. That was probably when the messageboard started switching over.
But it looks like so far everyone is adapting well. We just got home about two hours ago from shopping, so we're trying to get everything looking nice for you guys. |

In case anyone is having trouble, the "Navigation" button in the upper righthand corner is where you can fix your signatures (if they didn't
carry over). Also Yuku can host your avatar images for you as well, which is pretty handy.

The new board seems pretty cool. I've never heard of Yuku, but if Rumic uses it, it must be good. :3
The controls are a bit confusing to me though. |

I decided to put up an avatar, since that big empty white box with a siloet of a person bothers me. I like this pic of Nyyu, but maybe I should change it to somthing Takahashi related? |

The only problem i have is that aol won't accept the address so i had to download firefox otherwise there's no difference.
"Oh,
hey, I hear you can summon monsters," Ryu
commented. "Is that true?"
"Yes," Yakumo said quietly. "Tou-Chou and Chin-Kuu. Why do you ask?" Ryu grinned, nodding slightly. "So they're like pokémon, only evil, right?" "Pokémon are already evil," Yakumo returned flatly. "My servants are merely vicious." Conversation between Ryu Kumon (Ranma 1/2) and Yakumo Fuji (3X3 Eyes) in Brian Randall's fanfiction Process of Elimination.

I'm actually kinda nostalgic for the old Ezboard setting - we were there so long I actually got kinda fond of the kinks and problems. Oh well, time to
adjust!
