Okay, kind of an odd thought I just had. Since only humans, and half-demons, can use Tetsuseiga, would Inuyasha be able to use it if he became a full youkai?
It was intended for him to have it and it now contains his own fang, but I'm assuming the same rules would apply.

I suppose he'll still be able to wield it. Well his father was a full demon and he used the Tetsusaiga, because it was made out of his own fang. So I guess
Inuyasha would be no exception to this rule.

I'm not sure he could, since initially, holding the Tetsusaiga is what kept his demonic nature in check. It was only when the Tetsusaiga was knocked away
from him that he would transform, so it might not be possible.
Well, except in circumstances, now that I think about it. Such as when he used the Shikon shards with the Tetsusaiga to power it up (and himself, he turned full-demon, but didn't get out of control). So I would guess he could use it, but only in unusual situations such as in combination with the Shikon jewel. |

Well, I think the main thing is that he had to use it to protect humans - it transformed when Inuyasha said he wanted to protect Kagome waaaay back in the beginning of the series. I suppose the question is: what would he be like as a full youkai? So far, he's been a little nutso when he's started to become a full youkai, so he may not have the mental capacity to protect Kagome or anyone else, so it may not work for him. If he did have control of his mental faculties, it may work. |

Well the only reason he is out of control when transforms is because he isn't strong enough. But the maybe with the jewel, he will be.
However it may be, I just don't see him without Tetsusaiga. |

I guess Inuyasha will not use Shikon no Tama to transform into full youkai after all. He'll still remain as hanyou in the end.
Anyway, even if he transforms into full youkai, I think Inuyasha will still be able to use tetsusaiga because this fang is meant for only him. |

I was thinking there will probably be some circumstance where he will have to choose kagome or the jewel, and he'll choose kagome. don't u think? like at the end of ranma 1/2 where ranma chooses akane over the nannichiwan, sort of. anyway, if that happened, we all know in our hearts that inuyasha would choose kagome, ne? and another reason I don't think inuyasha will become a full youkai is because he dosen't seem to enjoy it when he transforms in2 one for a little while. he dosen't like it when he transforms into a human, either. so being a hanyou is perfect 4 him. |

I agree that Inuyasha isn't interested in becoming a full youkai anymore. He's been disturbed by his own actions when he has been, such as the time he
massacred all those bandits and, more recently: SPOILER when he knocked Kagome off the cliff and
believed for awhile that he had killed her.
As to the original question, yeah I think he would still be able to use it, after all, it was repaired with his own fang at one point. Im thinking what happened when the tainted shikon shards turned inuyasha into a full demon, was that the shards corruped the blade first, so that its no
longer"programed" to protect humans, but rather kill everything in sight. I cant think of another situation where he could use the sword while being
full yokai.

I think Inuyasha will begin a new search to become all demon after Naraku is killed. A way to become all demon without losing his soul or personality. Kind of
like Naraku. As for Tetsuseiga, I don't think the barrier rejects all demons. I think it just rejects those who are much like Sesshomaru, only out for self
gain. Beings who don't care about the well being of others. The sword is a demon sword so therefore it can only be wielded by demons or half demons.I
don't believe however that if Inuyasha becomes all demon, he won't be able to wield Tetsuseiga, because it was repaired using his demon fang. I think
that makes Tetsuseiga like a part of Inuyasha's body kind of like Sesshomaru's sword Bakuseiga. Besides that some full blooded demons can hold the
sword, lets take Kagome for example, she pulled the sword from the stone.... just joking, but seriously Shippo is a full-fledged demon and he can touch
Tetsuseiga with no problem at all. I believe this suggest that while Tenseiga can save souls and change souls like Sesshomaru (no easy task), Tetsusiega, which
originally spanned Tenseiga, still holds the power to read the heart of the person wielding it. I think thats why Sesshomaru wasn't brought to his knees
when holding the sword when he save the princess who fell in love with him. Note though it still burned his hand. I personally hope Inuyasha becomes a full
demon so that he can truly be his brother's rival. Plus that would make him strong enough to break free of the subjugation beads forced upon him by the
evil witch, Dark Demon Priestess Kagome and would give him the power to finally beat her to a pulp....oh sorry I got carried away again. Excuse Me
