The first new Inuyasha animation since December 2004's fourth IY movie will premiere next month in Japan, during a Rumiko Takahashi retrospective exhibit.
This is not a rumor. It was reported today by ANN, based on an announcement by Michihiko Suwa (Yomiuri TV anime producer) himself.

I read about that on the Inuyasha Companion site. It is to be called "Black Tetsusaiga". The assumtion is that it would be about Inuyasha attaining
the Meidou Zegatsuhi. It only lasts for thirty minutes, though, so it can't show much of the story, but maybe it is a harbinger of things to come?
Has anyone heard any more news about this?
