From reading other posts, I see that some people haven't read the most recent mangas, so I put a spoiler advisory in my title.
Anyways, I was just wondering with all of the recent talk about Kikyo going to heaven or hell, where Naraku will end up and where Inuyasha's meidou leads, what is the japanese concept of the afterlife? In japan, shinotoism and buddism are prevalent, right? I just thought heaven and hell were part of other western religions.
Let me know if I'm way off base because it's entirely possible.
