Hi what does the IY manga comic books cost to buy? remember I'm in Australia so hope you can work out the australian dollar, I'm asking as someone is
selling IY comics for $12 each.
I want my own Shippou (a real one, he is soooo cute)

I'm not sure what the Australian equivalent of $8 is but that's about how much each book is in the United States. |

Scratch that. I could have sworn I payed $7.95-ish each but I just went up to my room and looked at some of them any they were marked $8.95 so it's about $9.00 each (tax might bring it up to about $10 I really don't know how much book tax's are so I usualy just pay with a $20 so I don't have to think about that Although that's all probably trivial since $12.00 is probably a rip off unless that includes shipping. Then it's probably a good deal. Esspecialy if it's shipping from the United States to Australia. |

Believe it or not most people just read manga in the store and the staff just don't seem to care. Not that it should be encouraged... |

Yeah, I almost finished the Azumanga Omnibus the other day in Barnes and Noble, it was great. And they have a huge area devoted to reading, so it's not
like they don't want people reading the books.

Are there public libraries, or any libraries, with comics books only?

My Barnes and Noble removed it's chairs. I'm guessing that was an effort to sell more books. When I was waiting for my reserved copy of the last Harry
Potter book, I sat on the floor, in the manga section, and read InuYasha, sipping my green tea slushy thing from the coffee shop. There's a certain
satisfaction that comes with owning the book you are reading, though.
There are comic book stores, luvIY, but I have never heard of a comic book library. And if there was one, I'm relatively sure it would have a lot of losses from damage and theft.

Yeah, I talked to a librarian who was talking about how when they had manga, the teachers were mad at them because that was the only thing they would read.

I wasn't planning to go to a comic library, I was just curious 'cause I don't ever go to the library since the convenience of internet access. I
remember when I was younger, I grabbed a whole bunch of manga, stuff like Shin-Chan, and bought all of them home to enjoy. I thought it was something bad, or
impolite to read the books in a bookstore so I never did.
