Ya, I kinda have to agree. Maybe if they had arranged the artists that they had in a different order. I know if they had Hiromu Arakawa towards the end, it
would definitely make it less anti-climactic. Still, in the long run, I do think that, at least, they did end up with a lot of really good artists for the
entirety of it all.

Wow, its amazing seeing Lum being drawn in different ways. There are a lot of good mangaka. I wonder how Kaori Yuki 's would look like.

Wow, I've never heard of Daijiro Morohoshi, but after doing a google search and seeing some of his art, I really want to read some of his work. BTW can you post the last few head shots if you manage to obtain the, Yoiko?

Something notable that I found from my research is that they made a live action version of one of his works called "Kabe-Otoko." It looks really weird, and weird Japanese movies are always good in my book. |

The last one scares me so so so much. It's just so freakishly realistic in comparison with the rest of them. It seems really out of place.
X5ider0x if you do end up getting them all (or any of them) could you scan them in and show them to us. I'm interested in seeing what they look like.

Okay, so I picked up a few shinsobon in Japan very cheap, and I figured I'd start up a section so we could share them on the site and everyone could start
to see the full size images. Also, I managed to talk Yoiko into translating 'em, so we could see what the artists have to say about Takahashi.
Even though I got a few books, translating takes time, and Yoiko doesn't like to do it so I just put two up for now. We've got Lum no Fanboy's Junji Ito (#22) and put up my #12, Ryoichi Ikegami. Additionally I got #1 Rumiko Takahashi, #6 Takashi Shiina, and #25 Tetsuo Hara. My girlfriend owns #16 Hiromu Arakawa, and I think she'll let me put it up. So those will be coming in the next few weeks or so. If any of you would like to help contribute to this, Harley would be happy to translate it, and we'd host it up on the site to share it with everyone. I'm not going to be buying the whole set myself, as I've already got all the tankobons, but it might be fun if we worked together and shared or something. Hey, what is "shinsouban" ??? Is it a composite of MANY mangaka's works ? Is it consisting of brand new Lum stories or a re-drawing of the old
series ????
