I guess that finally settles that debate over what Ataru will do for a career-Nampa sensei!

Wow talk about cultural differences. I can see someone practicing nampa in the USA getting maced.

Sure, Miroku is smoother with the ladies, but he does get slapped quite a bit in the process. He has no problem with rubbing their bums. |

See I think Takahashi said somewhere (I think it was in the Inuyasha character profile book) that Miroku used to get the girls before Sanga was around to keep him in place. |

I remember a discussion on the Inuyasha boards about a year, year-and-a-half ago, about Miroku, and one girl insisted that she thought he was a virgin.
Yeahhhhhhh right.......

I just realized that I spelled Sango "Sanga" lol anyways, yeah I doubt he's a virgin but still can't see him getting lucky that often. |

Also, Ataru seems to usually only be asking for companionship (in the form of going out for a cup of tea), so he's not necessarily always being perverted with women so much as extremely forward. Evidence of Ataru being a virgin comes in the episode "Lum and Ataru, a Night Alone". Notice how nervous and fidgety he gets when it's time
for him to get in bed with Lum? One could argue that it's because it's Lum, but how come he was never so nervous going out on a date with her before?
Obviously, his human nature is kicking in. All humans are scared of the unknown. That being the case, he was nervous about sex there because he's never had
it before.

Ataru a virgin? Absolutely yes he's a virgin. Throughout the entire series. There is no indication whatsoever (not even a change of behaviour and attitude
that would suggest it) that Ataru and Lum have sex. I also think that Lum is a virgin as well. Otherwise it would have been a LOT easier for her to make him
fall in love with her... all she'd have to do is seduce him, and she'd have him. But she doesn't, which indicates, to me at least, that she is as
sexually inexperienced as he is, and still has some sort of stigma attached to sexual behavior.
You have to give her credit though, she did TRY to sleep with him in the beginning (during the Rei Introduction story), but she also thought they were already married at the time. It may have also been a desperation attempt at trying to "get" Ataru, stealing him away from Shinobu (obviously an unsuccessful attempt), at a time when he wasn't attracted to her at all (other than the base initial physical attraction). |

Actually, quite honestly, I believe that ALL of the teenage characters in UY are virgins (unless there's someone I'm not thinking of as I write this).
The adult characters is questionable (and obviously all the parents aren't virgins, otherwise they wouldn't have children), but I'm certain that
all the teenage characters are virgins. On the other hand...
Hmmm... would Kurama be considered a teenager? I've actually been wondering about her claim to virginity.
