I don't agree with what most of the guys here says but I prefer the Manga rather than the anime(eventho it was the anime that introduced me to the story).
I was shocked when I saw the difference between the Manga and Anime. I consider the anime non-canon because it didn't follow the exact traits of most of
the characters, rather they modified it to make the series more funny.
But make no mistake it is still a great story minus the ending.How come? I think it was a great ending. It lets the readers have the ending they want to get. It is a open ending, this kind of ending makes a story last. Because if it has a definite conclusion, Ranma 1/2 would be forgotten in... 2 years or 3, maybe 5? because it is sure a great story. |

well i like the anime because it is different. the characters are still the same and it gives you stories that are not in the anime. if everything was the same
as the manga there wouldn't be much of a reason to watch it then.

Anyway, I know there was a topic or something similar. And I wanted them to continue it, no questions asked. I mean, the thing I did like a lot about the
anime was how they didn't end it, or the ending didn't really solve anything. But know, knowing it's been...what? About 16 years? Well at least in
Japan, since it aired. The chance or it continuing or anything is very slim, and keeps getting smaller each year. But,
I would still love to see it finished though, but still the chances...

I prefer the manga, too. The anime is not that great to continue. There r too many filler episodes, the characters design is awful. Shampoo, my favorite girl,
looks too childish, not fit her personalities. She and Ukyo are not pretty as in manga. And the most important prob is that the story is not interesting like
manga. For example, the "Sneeze Me, Squeeze Me, Please Me! Shampoo's Recipe For Disaster" eps is far less hilarious than the manga version. The
scene when Kuno suddenly comes back knocking his gong to make Akane hug him is damn funny, but ignored in the anime. Maybe Ranma is difficult to animate so let
it be, no need to make more episodes.
