They all have advantages when they transform: Ranma can trick people when he turns into a girl... Ryouga can cuddle with Akane when he turns into P-Chan... Shampoo can turn keep Ranma in line whenever he acts out, by turning into a cat and freaking him out... and Mousse can...well..ummm...he can fly around...I guess...(ok bad example) So why are they so desperate to go back to there original forms? Sure, they are a little humiliating, but there seem to be more Pro's then Con's here.

For example: For Ryoga people try and eat him. For Ranma his mom nearly killed him, Akane calls him a pervert largely because of his curse, guys try and date him, a guy drugged him with the intention of raping him, guys kidnapped him with the intent of marrying him, etc... For Shampoo even though she changes to keep him in line it also makes her defenseless and is a barrier to getting Ranma. They can be locked in their cursed forms. Etc... They probably wouldn't mind had they control over the curses.

Now that I think about it a lot of his problams are because of his transformations. Although for Ryouga and Shampoo I still think the pro's outway the con's. People hardly ever try to eat him (I can only think of a few examples where that happend) and cuddling Akane as P-Chan is the closest he will ever get to her. Ryouga should consider it as a gift not a curse. As for Shampoo I think turning into a cat in order to keep Ranma in line is her best strategy for keeping Ranma close to her. She should probably use it to her advantage

However, it also keeps him from getting to close to her because if she ever found out that he was P-chan, she'd probably beat the snot out of him and never speak to him again. Although he may like cuddling, he's in constant danger of being exposed as her pet pig (as Ranma constantly reminds him). At least as a person, he has an honest shot with Akane. When he's a pig, he's nothing more than her pet and never can be. I think Ryoga wants a little more than that

She should probably use it to her advantage It keeps Ranma AWAY from her too though. She's half-cat, a creature which inspires utter terror in him, and nothing like affection. Shampoo knows that, and she'll use her cat-form against him on occasion, but ultimately it works against her own self-interest to continually remind Ranma of her cat-nature.

Because lets face it nope the clothes don't change. Mousse, Shampoo, and Ryouga become human but naked. If was in women's clothing at the time of changing back then now male again Ranma still wearing women's clothing.

That's probably where there is no "Spring of drowned man/woman who held millions of dollars in their fists when they died." And yes Shampoo does have the wrong idea because when you hate/fear something you want to be as far away from it as possible. And Ryoga other than cuddling w/ Akane and it wouldn't do him any good if he knew Akane wouldn't feel the same. Although I loved the scene of him as P-chan w/ Ranma and Akane's future baby strapped to his back. And with Ranma, other than scoring sweets, didn't seem to use his girl body unless he was in a predicament. I don't see why he would want to willingly have a girl half.... "Miss Shinobu won't you have some tea with me?"
