There's a slight possibility that some more animation will be made after the Manga is finished, but as of now, there are no plans.

you can't confirm it, it's not true, no matter what other fans may have heard from other fans - who heard from their cousin - who knew this guy etc...

Absolutely nope.
There were many rumors flying around the net, spreading incorrect news about IY movie 5. Even fake movie5 videos were uploaded in Youtube. And these are really wrong info. But I really do hope Takahashi will make another movie after the manga series end. lets pray hard! |

It's up to the animation company to decide that they want to make an anime out of the manga. Then they will ask Takahashi if they can animate her story. If she okays it, they'll do it. I don't really see Takahashi herself going to the anime company and asking them to make an OVA or what have you. But, regardless, to reiterate the point already made - many times in many threads -, I would love to see an end to the anime, but it doesn't seem the slightest bit likely at the moment. |

Okay, I know there are no new movies in the works - that's obvious - but I heard that Suwa said they were planning new Inuyasha animation. Someone asked a
panel which he was on at an anime convention and he affirmed that there was some kind of animation in the works. Really really just in the planning stage, no
release dates or specifics. Is this another viscious rumor, or is there a crumb of truth to this? Please don't hate me for asking.
