Hi, I'm an artist and I am looking into creating characters for a living. I wish to sell one of my characters I created to Rumiko Takahashi but I
don't know how to contact her directly. My character may help create more TV series to the InuYasha story.

Well, Rumiko Takahashi has been creating incredibly beloved characters by herself for 31 years, so I don't think she'd be interesting in
buying your characters. Sorry to let you down.

I figured I would have to make my own story cartoon based on my own character and all of her own friends. I just wanted to offer my character first to her before it is offered to Cartoon Network. |

Didn't she have a contest like 30 years ago where they had fans send in designs for characters and she drew them in the story arc where Lum's dad makes
her go to a party to meat potential spouces? Or did she just write "designed by so-and-so, age so-and-so" on a bunch of the characters to be random?

So, is that how things usually get started, comic wise? Start with a character, then build a story around it? Please make your story meaningful. When creating your world of characters, think of human problems, give some to the characters, and have them respond to the problems in a meaningful way...or something like that. One of the biggest mistakes I see in story writing, is perfection in their characters, and not enough human reactions to their situations. BTW, I love your avatar, MimiRu, did you make it yourself? It's so colorful! Sorry about the multiposts, I was getting a message that said Yuku couldn't post my message yet, each time I hit the reply button. I didn't realize that it was just a delay.

For a fairytales when I was a kid was Little Red Ridding Hood. But my character is a phoenix coyote girl even though she has red hair the wolf might not be interested in a coyote for supper if she was more phoenix maybe. |
