If a U.S.-style sitcom were to be made using any two characters, who do you think they'd be?
Personally, I think the funniest dynamic between any two characters in the series is that between Kuno and Nabiki. Regardless of whether there's any romantic tension, their unique relationship is such that the rest of the series could act as a flow point, with the rest of the cast making recurring guest roles, maybe for entire storylines (i.e. Kuno meets Ranma & PTG, how does Nabiki react?)
It's a tough thought, but they seem like a natural comedy duo, Kuno the idiotic fool with the lines and Nabiki as the straight woman in this twisted tale.

A camera crew following Ryoga around, trying not to
interfere with his inane wanderings, and trying not to pull their hair out. I can just see it: he goes to the corner store for some tea and ends up in Pakistan
or something. 
One of the funniest characters ever. It always makes me giggle that he is physically a match for Ranma, but he can't find his way across
the street to the site of the fight.
