i was thinking about getting the ranma 1/2 ps1 game. i can't read japanese but i can figure out what some of the symbols mean and i also own and have
beaten jump ultimate stars and bleach ds 2nd. so for the ones that have played the game is it worth getting even though i can't read japanese? also if it
is worth it, would it be hard to figure everything out?

Ah but your PS must be a japanese PS or have some part added so it will play imported games. Other than that warning I suppose I say good luck.

Well it looks like a difficult game but you could get it anyhow if you wanted. Oh and you also may have to fight in cursed form like as P-chan. Wow.

yeah i just looked at the game on ebay an the lowest price i could find it for was $60 i was hoping to find it cheaper because i just bought the ronin warriors
complete series on dvd so i will have to find a cheaper price or wait a while to save some more money.

I've seen it go for considerably more than $60 (around $100 a few years back when Ranma was still at the height of its popularity in the West).
I bought the game back when it came out and, well... it's not a great game honestly. It's a lot like the first Tekken game. It's very easy to play, and has a lot of vocal work by the Japanese seiyuu if that sort of thing interests you. The biggest problem is the when you get wet during a fight and your character transforms the game stops and has to load the new character. If you played it on a Japanese PS3 I imagine the loading times would be non-existant, which would be a huge improvement. Alas, the US PS3s don't play Japanese games of previous generations. But anyway, it's an average game. If you're a big Ranma fan you'll enjoy it.

now that you put it that way i may not get it. if it is just an average game and the loading time takes too long plus the price it may not seem worth getting.
